Homework/Home Learning
Homework at Scraptoft Valley Primary School
Children will receive weekly homework which will include spelling, reading and a Numeracy or times table activity that is appropriate for their age.
Nursery, Reception and KS1 classes may also have activities based on sight words and phonics.
KS2 children may also have grammar activity.
All children will also be given a piece of creative homework based on their topic in class and this can be completed at any point over the six week module.

Home Learning
If your child is isolating, a Home Learning Pack will be delivered to your home. If your child is in Year Two or above, the activities can also be found on your child’s Class Teams page. Your child’s log in details will be in the Home Learning Pack on the sheet ‘How to log onto teams’. Your child’s email address will be their first name and surname separated with a full stop ‘@scraptoftvalley.leicester.sch.uk’. i.e. fred.anyone@scraptoftvalley.leicester.sch.uk.
Your child will be provided with 8 days of activities in total and we ask that they start with day one and complete as much as possible if they are feeling well enough.
If you or your child have any questions or need help with the work please send an email to the class email address. This will be the class number @scraptoftvalley.leicester.sch.uk. i.e. ’class2@scraptoftvalley.leicester.sch.uk’. Please send any completed work to the class email address as the class teacher will log onto the Class Teams page and look at any work that is submitted.
If your child is in Year Two or above and need to borrow a laptop please call or message the school.
