Admissions
If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.
Foundation 1 / Nursery Admissions
Once your child turns 3 Years old they are eligible to start our Nursery, this intake begins after the Summer Holidays – a year before they begin Full-Time Education. Within our Nursery we offer children a part-time place of 15 hours, we also offer full-time places of 30 hours for children of parents/carers who work 16 hours or more (see the office for further details). To secure a nursery place for your child, please collect and complete an admissions pack from the school office, the office will also require your child’s birth certificate or passport to photocopy and file with the completed forms.
If we are over-subscribed within our Nursery we use the same criteria set by the local authority for maintained primary schools.
We offer 52 places within our Nursery.
Part-Time: Monday 9-3pm, Tuesday 9-3pm and Wednesday 9-12pm
Full-Time: Monday 9-3pm, Tuesday 9-3pm and Wednesday 9-3pm Thursday 9-3pm, Friday 9-3pm.
Children are taught by a qualified teacher supported by a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
Please note - A place in our School Nursery (Foundation 1) does not guarantee admission to the main school. Parents/Carers will still need to make an application with the Local Authority (contact details below) for a reception place (Foundation 2) even if your child is already attending the nursery (Foundation 1) at the school.
All admissions to the school other than Nursery are administered by the Local Authority
